This model exists because we think it's the only one that scales without corrupting the editorial. The alternative — charging clinics to list — creates a pay-to-play directory, which is exactly what we're trying to avoid.
Editorial independence
Clinic listings come from public Google Maps data. Rankings on commercial comparison pages come from publicly documented pricing, doctor access, and service lists. If we change a ranking, we'll note why. If an advertiser asks us to, we'll say no.
